Did you know....?

Just want to share to you all about new news that I just know (because I'm not stingy, hehehe)
have a nice reading..

1.Tiramisu is an Italian dish and its name means ‘pick me up’. The dessert could be a pick-me-up − something which will make you feel better. Or perhaps you will need someone to pick you up − lift you − after you have eaten it because it is so rich.

2. If you are looking for a room to rent in the UK, you will find advertisements in the local newspaper, in newsagents’ and on the Internet. You may also be able to get a list of accommodation agencies from the local Tourist Information Office.

3. Reading is a large town on the River Thames between London and Oxford. The pronunciation of Reading, the city, is /redıŋ/. (What you are doing right now is /ri:dıŋ/). Note also that the pronunciation of the administrative region –or country – Berkshire.

4. The word safari comes from Swahili and Arabic. The Arabic word is safar meaning ‘travel’ or ‘journey’. Swahili is one of the major languages of Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda.
Lot of words which are used in English have come from other languages. For example: typhoon (Chinese), robot (Czech), cruise (Dutch), opera (Italian), judo (Japanese), ski (Norwegian), sofa (Persian), buffalo (Portuguese), and yoghurt (Turkish).

Hopefully that will be new information for you, especially for me myself. And for the following information will be continued soon. Thanks for reading!
